Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued Announcement No. 7 of 2025, approving the release of 1,128 industry standards, including the "Technical Requirements for Personal Information Protection of Minors in Mobile Internet Applications". Among them, two industry standards, namely "Industrial Sewing Machines - Glove Sewing Unit" and "Energy Consumption Testing Methods for Sewing Machines - Part 2: Lockstitch Sewing Machine", which are under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on Sewing Machinery Standardization (SAC/TC152), were officially approved for release. With the release of these two standards, the total number of currently valid standards under the jurisdiction of the sewing machinery industry has reached 207, including 183 industry standards, of which 14 are national standards and 10 are association or group standards.
Next, the Secretariat of the Standardization Administration will actively organize and carry out standard promotion and implementation activities, helping enterprises to timely and accurately understand and grasp the newly issued standard requirements, accelerate the implementation and application of standards, and further promote technological progress and product quality improvement in the industry.
